Guidance on the "Business One Link Platform" for Starting a Business in Guangzhou

  1. Applicable Entity and Transactions

  Applicable enterprises: limited liability companies, companies limited by shares, partnerships, and sole proprietorships (hereinafter referred to as "the enterprises"), and the branches thereof; specialized farmers’ cooperatives and their branches.

  Available business scope: applications for starting a business, including business license (autonomous application of enterprise name and business registration), seals making, invoices and the Tax Ukey, employment registration and social insurance registration, housing provident fund deposit registration, and preset bank account opening (opening of bank account with a pre-designated account number) or making an appointment to open a corporate bank account, etc.

  2. What to prepare before starting a business?

  To enhance application efficiency, please prepare in advance the following:

  2.1 Prepare 1 to 5 alternative entity names of the enterprise name, to ensure that can be registered successfully;

  2.2 A legal domicile (premises where the business operates) and the accurate address, name of the property titleholder, the contact number, etc.;

  2.3 Valid identifications and information of the shareholders (investors), organization members (e.g. shareholders, directors, supervisors etc), chief financial officer, business contact, tax officer, invoice buyer, bank account administrator and the officer responsible for bank payment.

  3. Where to apply?

  You can apply for starting a business in the following ways:

  PC: Login to the "Business One Link Platform" (website: http://scjgj.gz.gov.cn/ywt/).

  WeChat: Search for "广州市开办企业一网通平台" in WeChat Mini Program, enter the platform and click on "开办申请".

  4. How to apply?

  Applications will be handled in two ways depending on your needs:

  4.1 Complete electronic application for businesses

  Applicants shall:

  a. login to the platform;

  b. fill in all the business information or upload required photos and materials (e.g. documents for business domicile/premises) according to the guidance of the platform. A formatted application text will be generated automatically;

  c. since the formatted application text being generated and confirmed, it will be forwarded automatically to the shareholders, legal representative, directors and supervisors for electronic signatures after confirmation, and then a formatted application documents will be automatically and finally formed.

  For an application which electronic signatures are not applicable, the applicant shall sign the application documents and upload them according to the guidance of the platform.

  4.2 Separate sections of electronic applications

  When applying for starting a business through the platform, if the tax-related registration, social insurance registration, housing provident fund deposit registration, preset bank account opening or making an appointment to open a corporate bank account, etc. are not applied together, the applicant can apply the above matters separately through the platform after the establishment of the enterprise.

  5. How to get the Business-starting Package?

  Once the application is approved, a text message will be sent automatically by the platform to the corresponding applicant. Having received this message, the applicant can go to the Post-Approval Collection Counter at the government service center of the district where the enterprise domiciles/premises are located, and collect the Business-starting Package which includes the business license, seals, invoices and the Tax Ukey for the newly registered enterprise with zero cost. Electronic business license, electronic seals and electronic invoices may also be issued simultaneously according to the applicant's needs.

  6. Browser Requirement

  To ensure that registrations proceed normally through the online system, we recommend that you use a browser of IE 10 or any other more advanced browser.
